About the Program

LaunchLNK supports early-stage, scalable startups seeking to establish and grow their businesses in Lincoln, Nebraska. Six qualifying startups are selected for non-dilutive funding, partner services, mentorship, capital connections and introductions to potential local customers and partners.

Eligibility requirements

  • The startup must be based in Lincoln or able to maintain a presence in Lincoln during the participation year.
  • Applicants must have a goal and vision for business growth and scalability.
  • Applicants must explain the problem being solved, who experiences it and the significance of the problem.
  • All industries and company types are welcome.

Offerings / Benefits

  • USD 20,000 non-dilutive cash grant for each of six selected startups.
  • Funding is released after milestones agreed with the program manager are met.
  • The official program page currently lists over USD 23,000 in services and credits, while a promotional announcement reports over USD 43,000 in additional benefits.
  • Partner support includes startup and product strategy, legal services, intellectual-property consultation, workspace access, prototype development, branding, Chamber of Commerce membership and promotion.
  • Connections to mentors, investors, corporations and potential early customers or partners.

Sectors supported

All industries are accepted. Previous recipients have represented software, agriculture, healthcare, energy, food delivery and other sectors.

Selection process

  • Round 1, due 16 October 2026: approximately 45-minute basic profile and initial risk assessment focused on the problem and customers; results expected by 23 October.
  • Round 2, due 20 November 2026: approximately two-to-three-hour assessment covering the product, business model, competition and growth; results expected in early December.
  • Round 3, in early December: 30-minute virtual panel pitch and question-and-answer session.
  • Six recipients are expected to be announced by the end of 2026.
