About the Program
Surge is Peak XV's platform for seed-stage founders building category-defining companies. It provides equity capital, dedicated investment support, operating expertise and access to the Peak XV founder and investor network. Surge invests from USD 500,000 up to USD 5 million in seed capital. Applications are open year-round and reviewed on a rolling basis.
Eligibility requirements
- * Founders can apply at the idea stage; there is no minimum traction requirement.
- * Strong founder or founding team with deep conviction and unique insight.
- * Large addressable market with potential to build a category-defining company.
- * For launched companies, early signs of customer love through engagement, retention and product usage are considered.
- * Founder-market fit is an important evaluation factor.

Selection process
- Applications are submitted online and reviewed on a rolling basis. Surge evaluates the founding team, market opportunity, founder-market fit and, where applicable, early customer traction. The application includes company information, founder details, lifecycle stage, traction metrics and supporting materials such as a deck or product demo.
