About the Program
PIEDS : Pilani Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Society, BITS Pilani , in association with Aditya Birla Capital Foundation, is back with the 4th cohort of WomenpreneurforBharat - our flagship initiative supporting women-led startups.
Eligibility requirements
- • Applicant must be from a Tier-2 or Tier-3 city in India
- • Women entrepreneurs must hold more than 51% equity in the company
- • Startup must be at least at the idea stage with a PoC or prototype
- • Annual revenue must not exceed ₹1 crore
- • Startup must not have received more than ₹20 lakh in grants or seed funding
- • Must be a for-profit Private Limited Company, or agree to incorporate as one if selected
- • Must meet the DPIIT startup definition and have DPIIT certification
- • Must align with at least one of UN SDGs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 or 13
