About the Program
The UKG India CSR Grant, implemented by Venture Center, supports entrepreneurs and startups developing science-based technologies with strong social impact. The program provides grant funding for proof of concept, prototype development, prototype validation, pilot studies, and evidence generation. It aims to help innovators validate technologies, explore commercial viability, generate investor interest, and build scalable solutions for healthcare and manufacturing frontline workers. Projects are supported for up to 9 months along with incubation, mentoring, and ecosystem access.
Eligibility requirements
- Applicants can be individual innovators, Private Limited Companies, or LLPs.
- Project Leader must be an Indian citizen, at least 21 years old, and work full-time on the project.
- Project Leader must possess an eligible science, engineering, medicine, or technology qualification.
- Companies and LLPs must have at least 51% Indian ownership.
- Projects must solve a clearly defined problem using an innovative technology.
- Eligible projects include proof of concept, prototype development, prototype validation, and pilot studies.
- Pure software development without IP potential, pure academic research, and duplicate grant-funded projects are not eligible.
