About the Program
The TANUH - C-CAMP Innovations Program supports Indian-developed AI innovations addressing non-communicable diseases. The program is operated by C-CAMP with TANUH, the Ministry of Education-funded AI Centre of Excellence in Healthcare hosted at the Indian Institute of Science.
Eligibility requirements
- Applicants must propose an AI-based innovation addressing a non-communicable disease. Supported areas include cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, cancer, chronic respiratory disorders, musculoskeletal disorders and metabolic liver diseases. The innovation must demonstrate technical feasibility, novelty, societal value, a commercialization roadmap and a competent team.
Offerings / Benefits
- Five Idea-to-Proof-of-Concept innovations may receive grants up to INR 15 lakhs each.
- Two Proof-of-Concept-to-MVP innovations may receive grants up to INR 50 lakhs each.
- One deployment-stage innovation may receive a grant up to INR 50 lakhs.
- Selected teams may also receive incubation, mentorship, technology-infrastructure access, regulatory and intellectual-property guidance, clinical validation and pilot-deployment support.
- No equity is reported to be taken.

Selection process
- Applications are assessed for technical feasibility, commercialization strategy, novelty, value proposition, team strength and societal impact. Up to eight innovations are selected across the three technology-readiness categories.
