About the Program
RakshaTech Synapse 2026 is a platform by IHFC, Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Delhi, in collaboration with Corps of EME, designed to accelerate deep-tech defence innovation through industry collaboration, funding, prototype showcase and potential real-world deployment.
Eligibility requirements
- • Technology should have reached TRL 4 or above.
- • Academic and research institutions can apply.
- • Deep-tech startups, innovators and organizations can apply.
- • Industry-academia consortia can apply.
- • Solutions should address relevant defence, national security, disaster management, space technology or safety-device challenges.
- • Applicants should have a working prototype or technology ready for further development, validation or deployment.

- • Funding support up to ₹2 Crore for individual projects
- • Funding support up to ₹5 Crore for consortium projects

Selection process
- Applications/proposals are evaluated for technology relevance, readiness and potential for collaboration and deployment. Selected applicants get an opportunity to showcase their prototype before an expert panel and explore collaboration with the R&D partner.
