PDEU IIC NIDHI Seed Support Program (NIDHI SSP)
Seed funding support for technology-driven Indian startups to accelerate product development and commercialization.
About the Program
The NIDHI Seed Support Program (NIDHI SSP) at PDEU Innovation & Incubation Center is an initiative of the National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. The program provides seed funding to technology-driven startups for proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry, commercialization, and early business growth. In addition to financial assistance, startups receive mentoring on business models, strategy, and market development.
Eligibility requirements
- Company registered in India.
- Preferably DPIIT registered or applied.
- Minimum three months of incubation with PDEU IIC.
- Validated Unique Selling Proposition (USP) and customer value proposition.
- Minimum 51% shareholding held by Indian promoters.
- Indian subsidiaries of foreign companies are not eligible.
- Startups that have already received NIDHI SSP support from another incubator are not eligible.
- Preference will be given to startups that have not received funding from Government of India or State Government bodies.
