MIT Solve 2027 Global Economic Prosperity Challenge

MIT Solve seeks technology-driven solutions that expand economic security and opportunity through quality employment, financial resilience and safe, affordable, climate-resilient housing.

• Applicants must submit a technology-based, human-centered solution aligned with the challenge.
• Solutions should demonstrate impact potential and meaningful engagement with the communities served.
• Concept-stage ideas are generally not reviewed under Global Challenges.

• $10,000 Solver Award for every selected Solver team.
• Eligibility for additional prizes from a funding pool exceeding $1 million.
• Nine-month support program.
• Leadership coaching, workshops and monitoring-and-evaluation support.
• Access to MIT Solve’s investor, partner and impact networks.
• Software, legal and other in-kind resources.

• Applications are assessed for challenge alignment, impact potential, feasibility, innovation, human-centered design, scalability and partnership potential. Finalists proceed through Solve’s evaluation and selection process.
