About the Program
The Greenovation Agri Mechanization Challenge supports climate-smart, affordable, and scalable agricultural innovations that improve productivity, reduce labour requirements, and strengthen agricultural value chains for smallholder farmers in India. The program operates through Startup & SME and Farmer Producer Company (FPC) tracks, providing mentoring, funding opportunities, industry connections, and commercialization support for innovative agricultural technologies.
Eligibility requirements
- * Registered startup or SME incorporated within the last 10 years
- * Prototype, pilot-tested, or market-ready solution
- * Solutions addressing rural or peri-urban agricultural challenges
- * Farmer Producer Companies must have at least two years of operations with active farmer membership and experience in agricultural services or market linkages

Selection process
- Applications are evaluated based on innovation, scalability, climate impact, commercial viability, and relevance to agricultural challenges.
- Shortlisted applicants participate in a residential bootcamp, mentoring sessions, and the Challenge Finale.
- Selected ventures receive prizes and opportunities for acceleration, funding, pilots, and partnerships.
