About the Program
GENESIS Investment 2.0 is the Investment Component of the GENESIS scheme, designed to provide matching investment support to eligible startups that have raised investment from a qualifying external/private investor. Eligibility requirements
- • Must be a registered Indian Private Limited Company
- • Minimum 51% Indian ownership
- • Must be registered in a Tier-II or Tier-III city
- • Must have a valid DPIIT certificate
- • Must have a technology-based product/software in domains promoted by MeitY
- • Service platforms are not eligible
- • Must have a market-ready product and preferably be revenue-generating
- • Preference given to startups with granted patents and intellectual property
- • Must not be involved in legal disputes
- • Must have raised qualifying external/private investment
- • Government funding and FDI are not considered for matching investment
- • Cannot have previously been supported under TIDE 2.0 (Scale-up), SAMRIDH, or GENESIS EIR before graduation
